His claims of being serially threatened with death for being a black professor at one of the most elite and historical institutions in the world is now finally being scrutinized. The Guardian newspaper tried to help support Arday in a profile but it found that it could not substantiate any of his claims of being threatened with violence, including a shocking claim that a masked man with a knife repeatedly threatened him on campus. It was also revealed that Arday made a criminal report of harassment against another professor who raised concerns about Arday’s plagiarism. Leftists have been defending Arday, saying the spotlight on him is racist and white supremacist."
