Using data from the European Commission's Global Wildfire Information System, it shows that 2026 has experienced the lowest cumulative burned area across the Americas in at least the past decade. A second graphic, using the same global database, shows that every inhabited continent is running below its recent average for area burned this year, with Africa, the Americas, and Europe at record lows."

Drawing on evidence from more than 800 fire-scar sites across western North America, it shows that large wildfires were substantially more common before 1900 than they are today. Fire activity declined with changes in land management, livestock grazing, settlement patterns, and organized fire suppression. In the single game where they lost by a huge margin, their star male player did not play. 5. Goon has described this male player as incredibly fast and that no one can catch him. The other men are over 6 feet tall. All are relatively inexperienced, they appear to be rookies who have never played before and the other appears to have played only one year, yet two of the men have scored the majority of goals. Goon credits their success with "good coaching." 6. Goon seems to believe men have no advantage over women if the team with more men wins. He ignores the teams without men that were crushed by the teams with men all season. He also ignores the fact that some men are just bad at sports. 7. When an athletic man played on this team, the score was 36-27, Ferals. When he did not play, the score was 5-70. Goon again blames this on coaching and "who was available to play." Obviously, the key individual who was not "available to play" that day was a man. His presence determined the outcome of every game. Without him, not one woman scored. 8. USA Rugby has not "banned" anyone. They require men to play on men's teams or on open teams because women need an actual women's league. 9. There is no discussion about women who play in men's leagues because they have no advantage and are only putting themselves at risk, something they understand and are bearing the responsibility of. 10. No story can encompass every angle, but this story is told entirely from the perspective of men who say whatever they want and Goon expects his readers to believe them. It also appears he has interviewed their teammates, some of whom are "trans" identified themselves (there are women who pretend to be men and who call themselves nonbinary on the team as well). 11. Goon has shut off comments so he cannot be corrected. Sir, this is simply indefensible. Your entire article is ridiculous. Those of us familiar with men in women's sports have endured over decades of the same slop coming out of reporters, praising these shameful teams and players. They are violating the rules. Do you understand this? What they are doing is WRONG. It is UNFAIR. It is DANGEROUS. And your article very much appears to be advocating for this."

Ambler led police on a long, dangerous high speed chase through Austin and surrounding suburbs like Round Rock. Amber's recklessness was incredibly dangerous for the community putting many drivers and families at risk. They finally got him pulled over but he then resisted arrest, fighting with the officers instead of complying. They tased him but it did not have effect due to his size and he kept resisting. Fighting officers during arrest is how officers die every year even at the hands of 'unarmed' suspects because the suspects get the officer's gun in the fight. Its happened many times and its literally happened in Austin. Police had to tase him again until he stopped fighting. He did tragically die but it was determined that his pre-existing heart condition was a big factor. The other big factor was his own behavior as he is responsible for the entire incident.
Dan Abrams said, “Those cops should sue James Talarico for saying that they murdered Javier Ambler. It’s a lie.” Talarico is an absolute disgrace. Can Democrats pick one decent candidate?
