This is reminiscent of when NYC Mayor de Blasio blamed dozens of violent attacks on Orthodox Jews on "the forces of white supremacy" when NOT ONE SINGLE ATTACK was committed by a white person. He was able to show a slight increase by showing only the data from 1970 to 2010 and more importantly by not including the data from 1910 to 1970 which shows a significant downward trend.
