Many colleges still reject it in the name of DIE including all University of California schools.

Mayor Karen Bass was in Ghana Africa after saying she should not use taxpayer money to travel out of the country. Being called Nero since there was a severe fire threat when she left. Before the fire, the fire chief told the mayor they were severely understaffed and underfunded. No money for firefighting but CA spends billions of DEI initiatives and climate change. Large portion of fire engines were inoperative. A key reservoir was totally dry and new reservoirs were never built (to allegedly help some useless fish) after decades of knowing they were needed. Many hydrants did not work. The foliage was never managed leading to significantly increased fire threat. Arson was also involved. Bass and Gov. Newsom blame 'climate change' even though these exact conditions have been present recently in CA and throughout its entire history. Other democrats blame 'racism' and 'sexism' for any criticism of Bass and her mishandling of the preparation and situation. All typical blame shifting for democrats but its not going to work this time...

Bass tried to say she wasn't properly warned of the conditions but Crowley brought receipts that she was warned (and Bass passed along that warning) about not just the conditions but the underfunding of the Fire Dept and what would be the consequences of that. Months before the big fire, Crowley told Bass that her $17 million in budget cuts "severely limited the department's capacity to prepare for, train for, and respond to large-scale emergencies, including wildfires."

This week a transitioned Male athlete, at a major event, won 'everything,' and is now qualified to compete in the 'State Finals' next weekend. As a Male, he was a less than average competitor. As a Female, this transitioned person is practically unbeatable. THIS IS NOT FAIR, AND TOTALLY DEMEANING TO WOMEN AND GIRLS. Please be hereby advised that large scale Federal Funding will be held back, maybe permanently, if the Executive Order on this subject matter is not adhered to. The Governor, himself, said it is “UNFAIR.” I will speak to him today to find out which way he wants to go??? In the meantime I am ordering local authorities, if necessary, to not allow the transitioned person to compete in the State Finals. This is a totally ridiculous situation!!!"

This small change, designed to address the fact that biological males like AB are taking the spots of girls that should be in the competition, it is entirely inadequate to address the problem in general. Boys will still be beating girls and taking their victories. Now they will be beating more girls than before.

Aug 7, 2025 ~ 'Gerrymander for Me, but Not for Thee'
Democrats are hyperventilation about Texas redistricting. Texas lawmakers are fleeing the state to prevent a quorum. Democrat politicians, the #FakeNews and other hacks are acting as if this effort is some kind of unique assault on Democracy itself. The reality is that Democrats have Gerrymandered the HELL out of their own states.
For example, Republicans "win nearly 44% of the popular vote in Illinois congressional races and only about 17% of the congressional seats." Illinois, which is ironically where the Texas Democrats fled to has many ridiculous looking districts to achieve the above result.
California is similarly massively gerrymandered: "Republicans won nearly 40% of the congressional vote in the Golden State in 2024 but only about 17% of the House seats." Republicans only hold 9 of 52 CA House seats.
Charles Cooke explains: "There are only two possible worlds here: A world in which neither party gerrymanders the states they control, and a world in which both parties do. There can be no plausible system in which Maryland is a gerrymandered state but Florida isn’t, or in which Illinois has been sliced-and-diced but Ohio remains pure. We now live in the latter world. I cannot be expected to care about it only in one direction." Update: Arthur Schaper: "For the record, the Texas GOP is not gerrymandering, but rather un-gerrymandering, or unmandering. Their new GOP-leaning districts are more compact, race-neutral, and more respectful of the territorial, cultural, and municipal boundaries. In other words, more democratic."

He didn't even mention that CA has legalized shoplifting. They barely enforce laws of any kind, letting criminals out immediately. Why would any business try to operate in such a place?
Sep 1, 2025 ~ 'Gavin Newsom Has Republicans on the Ropes on Crime Because They Can't Speak the Truth' Newsom is having fun pointing out that several blue states have higher crime and murder rates than CA. CA ranks high in crime but still behind 8 red states. Republicans have a true answer that it makes no sense to compare at state levels. All the very low crime counties bring down the average and a big state like CA has lots of those compared to smaller states. An accurate picture can be seen by looking at the county level. And when you do that, it becomes very apparent that all of the highest crime counties are blue counties regardless of whether they are in red or blue states. And similarly, almost all of the very low crime counties are red counties.
Morefield points out an underlying truth that the crime rate in any given county is directly proportional to the percentage of black people in the county (again regardless of if the county is in a red or blue 'state'). Republicans are reluctant to point out for fear of falsely being called 'racists' and that is inevitable. False accusations of racism are still heavily used to shut down the exposing of uncomfortable truths. But it is sometimes necessary to tell the truth or the complete wrong conclusions will be drawn from spin like Newsom's.
