Think about that for those who deny that 'trans' is a social contagion. There were no trans students. Then within a couple of years of the first one, a sixth of the students in his grade identified as 'trans.' Its ridiculous obviously. But they were so 'affirmed.' Then Simon learned the hard way that you can go from left wing darling by being 'trans' to 'Nazi' if you have one wrong opinion. "Simon realized that progressives did not have his best interest in mind: he publicly opposed affirmative action in his freshman year of college, got canceled, and, in the wake of being labeled a 'Nazi,' lost any social credit he got from identifying as transgender. This, he said, made him recognize the greater fallacy of gender ideology."

In the woke frenzy of 2020, the Sierra Club even went so far as to cancel its own founder for having 'made derogatory comments about Black people and Indigenous peoples that drew on deeply harmful racist stereotypes.'" They imposed struggle sessions to "take this moment to reexamine our past and our substantial role in perpetuating white supremacy."
They couldn't fight climate change without building "an intersectional climate justice movement that ensures a habitable planet for all people. And we cannot create that movement without demanding reparations for Black people — a community that is burdened with deep trauma stemming from a legacy of colonialism, genocide, land theft, enslavement, racial terror, racial capitalism, structural discrimination, and exclusion."
The DIE initiatives never ended. They pledged to spend millions “to make long-overdue investments in our staff of color and our environmental and racial justice work and create a dialogue with, and resources for, our members about the intersection between racism and environmental justice issues and invest in our HR and training capacities to ensure that staff, volunteers, and members are held accountable for any harm they inflict upon members of our Sierra Club community who identify as Black, Indigenous, or people of color.” "The club even pledged to defund the police and make financial reparations for slavery." They wrote a 26 page Orwellian language policing manual. The list of 'problematic' words and phrases are so ridiculous, you would think its a parody. Consequently, they've driven away any remotely normal person who wanted to work on the causes that the Sierra Club used to work on. Fund raising is drying up as well.

This is terrifying. $750k is enough to wipe out almost anyone. The message is loud and clear: You will comply with the thought police and only use state approved speech or we will destroy you. Once again, thank goodness for the 1st Amendment in the United States.

Steyer's Center for American Progress labelled Pielke a 'climate denier' because he doesn't think climate change is "the apocalypse." A view that has been vindicated but the damage to Pielke's career has been done.
Steyer bragged about getting Pielke canceled: "Thanks for your support of this work ... it's fair to say, without Climate Progress, Pielke would still be writing on climate change." Disgusting.
"When the climate advocacy movement shifted to extreme weather, I was on the 'wrong' side," he adds. "I had a choice to make. Was I going to call things like I see them, or was I going to succumb to pressure to say things that maybe I didn't believe?"
"Pielke called it as he saw it, and paid a price."

Testifying before Congress, Pielke said, "It is misleading ... to claim that disasters associated with hurricanes, tornadoes, floods or drought have increased."

"A French women’s rights activist has been found guilty of 'public insult' over a remark she made during a televised debate with a trans-identified male. Dora Moutot was informed on May 20 that she had been convicted of 'public insult against a person or group of people on account of their sex, sexual orientation or gender identity' due to her comment that women are 'wary of people with penises.'" She made that (true) comment in 2022 and is still being dragged through the legal system. An alarming number of people are being charged and prosecuted for unapproved speech in France, the UK and all over Europe. Our 1st Amendment still protects us, though Democrats would love to abolish it.
May 30, 2026 ~ Free speech is illegal in most of Europe. We should never take our 1st Amendment for granted! Even true, respectful speech is illegal if it goes against unapproved narratives. Dries Van Langenhove @DVanLangenhove reports: A very sad announcement. I have just been convicted a second time for 'hate speech' and it is only due to a technicality that I could not immediately be sent to jail —to the judge's frustration. In an ironic turn of events it's actually thanks to my previous prison sentence (for memes in a private group chat) that I am now still free —in a physical sense, at least. Call me naive but I didn't think they would take it this far, given that this precedent criminalises many of the arguments used by even the most moderate politicians critical of mass migration. In February 2024 I gave a lecture at Catholic University Leuven wherein I linked mass migration to crime and a deterioration of our quality of life. Every single point I made was 100% the truth and based on scientific evidence. Cynically, even the judge that convicted me admits as much by writing in his verdict: “Even if all of the statements made by Van Langenhove are based on scientific evidence and statistics, it makes no difference to the criminal intent. Van Langenhove is not charged with spreading false information. He is charged with presenting facts in a way that incites hatred against persons on the grounds of one or more of the protected criteria in the Anti-Racism Law.” That's a lot of words just to say he wants to send me to prison for speaking the truth. Even the regime media write: "It did not matter to the court that Van Langenhove was quoting scientific sources. The judge argued that Van Langenhove's main message was that a big part of the societal problems like insecurity, housing shortages and lowering educational standards are due to mass migration." You may think the regime media are being sympathetic to me in the first sentence, but in reality they are warning people: even if you speak the truth, if you go against our narrative, we will crush you in every way possible. Both the public prosecutor and the judge did not present a single real argument as to how or against whom I would have incited hatred. So even if I would accept their crazy, dystopic law, I still did not break it. The only argument they present is that I created a "hostile atmosphere of us versus them” in regards to migrants. But even this silly argument (which is not even a punishable offence) is not true. To me, the deadly disease is self-hatred and one of its worst symptoms is replacement migration. My enemy is thus NOT the migrants themselves but those orchestrating the mass migration. Sadly, in Belgium, evidence is not needed and ‘vibes’ are enough to put someone in jail. Given the fact that I have another court case coming up in September and that I have a dozen active criminal investigations for hate speech, time is running out for me. I have already paid more than €420,000 in legal fees and there is no ending in sight. I have been in an intense battle of attrition for eight years and must now regroup to make sure I can still win.
