Broadleaf species that hold more moisture and would slow a fire are often cut back or suppressed."

But the most consequential impact of this industrial contraction is ecological. Canada’s parklands – where monitoring exists – show a clear trend of rapidly aging boreal forests, with large stands now reaching 70 to 120 years old. In Alberta’s eastern foothills, provincial parks contain dense, overmature, fuel‑loaded forests primed for high‑intensity wildfire. Decades of fire suppression, beetle kill, drought, and heavy recreational pressure have created extreme fire risk. As Parks Canada itself warns, 'the reduction or exclusion of fire as a natural process … leads to increased risk of wildfires.'"

One can only hope that Europe can get these fires out before the damage destroys the historic vineyards and cities of its beautiful civilization. They need to get serious about dumping the climate change myths."

Former President Joe Biden's policies were all tilted to ending fossil fuels, and many of America's biggest corporations embraced the concept of net-zero fossil fuels. This was the movement during the Biden years to eliminate virtually ALL oil, natural gas and coal production, and replace these energy sources with windmills, solar panels and electric vehicles. This goal was pure virtue-signaling, and it never made any practical sense. Roughly 70% of American energy comes from fossil fuels, and only about 10% comes from 'green energy.' Studies showed that the initiative would have decimated the U.S. economy: millions of American jobs lost, hundreds of billions of dollars of lost GDP, and much higher energy costs for American businesses and families."
