Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy gives further details of why this was going to be so bad for Americans had it been allowed to continue: "Biden and Buttigieg…used EVs and hybrids to come up with a 62 mile-an-hour per gallon standard, which the car companies will tell you, is completely unattainable. So they spent a lot of money on technology trying to meet the unattainable standard, driving up the cost of a car, number one, and then number two, if they couldn’t meet the unattainable standard, they had to trade for carbon, costing billions of dollars, and again, driving up the price of the cars."

I.e. the Marxists have been stealing the oil from US. Trump is working on the next steps of returning those oil fields back to their rightful owners.

Guess who talked them into this madness: "In 2015, President Obama launched his Power Africa initiative, telling African audiences this was their opportunity to 'leapfrog over dirty energy and immediately go to clean energy.'"
Meanwhile China and India are building hundreds of coal plants and the West is enjoying fossil fuel power. The developing nations may have been fooled by Obama for a while, but they are not going to forgo their own prosperity anymore!
