Aug 13, 2026 ~ "Trump Admin Ends Federal Medicaid Funding for Child Sex Changes"
"The Trump administration announced Tuesday that it is banning Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) funding from being used for “sex-rejecting” drugs and surgeries for children." “Today, we are ending federal taxpayer funding for sex-rejecting procedures on children,” U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said in a statement. “These interventions carry serious risks and can cause irreversible harm. The federal government will no longer use Medicaid and CHIP dollars to fund procedures that fail to meet the evidentiary standard our children deserve.”
The agency said the funding ban applies to puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgical interventions for minors, which “can result in irreversible damage, including infertility, impaired sexual function, diminished bone density, altered brain development, and other lasting physiological effects.”
Trump: “While the Dumocrat Party wants your kids to be able to chop off their reproductive organs before they are old enough to vote, President Donald J. Trump (ME!) and the Republican Party say that is ABSURD, and we will protect America’s children. Please remember this when you are casting your vote in the Midterm Elections in November. Thank you for your attention to this very important matter!”
This is a huge victory but taxpayer funding of all sex changes should have been ended. These are hugely expensive cosmetic procedures.

"The goal, obviously, is to hang blame for measles outbreaks in the United States on HHS Sec. RFK, Jr., and whatever you think about him or his views on vaccinations (RFK has told people to get the measles vaccine, for what it is worth), announcements about public health shouldn't be seen as opportunities to score political points unless you don't care about the lives of your constituents."
"Governor Shapiro's unseemly rush to Lancaster County to convene a national press conference and his giddy delight in announcing two measles deaths was a morose commentary on the contemporary political dialogue. The performance was a replay of the Democrats' COVID playbook: fearmongering, misinformation, finger-pointing, and the weaponization of infectious disease fears for political gain. The announcement appears to have been premature, and the deaths may even have been altogether fabricated by one of the Governor's hopeful staffers. The Lancaster County Coroner says that it has no record of any measles deaths. State law requires that all measles deaths be reported to the coroner." The other death was an infant that did not die "from" measles and was too young for the vaccine anyway.
"Governor Shapiro got his headlines. He correctly gambled that the slavish mainstream media would dutifully amplify his scolding without any effort to check his facts." This is diabolical. They are lying about deaths to try to score political points against the Trump administration. "Even Kennedy critics concede that the issue is being politicized to the detriment of public health. Not only is it ethically wrong, but it also directly affects people's willingness to trust the government on health issues."
