Mar 1, 2019 ~ West Virginia GOP criticized for a poster at their event that despicably showed Ilhan Omar juxtaposed with 9/11 saying she is proof we forgot. WVGOP said they were unaware of the poster, do not condone it and asked for it to be taken down. [Islamophobia, Omar]
Sep 1, 2020 ~ Joy Reid in hot water with Ilhan Omar for anti-Islamic statements, 'When leaders... in the Muslim world, talk a lot of violent talk and encourage their supporters to be willing to commit violence... they are radicalizing... people... That's how we talk about the way Muslims act.' [Omar, Islam, Islamophobia]
Jun 8, 2022 ~ Raymond Ibrahim, 'Why Does One Mosque Massacre Outweigh Countless Church Massacres?' The UN created "international day to combat Islamophobia" for the New Zealand massacre that killed 51. Ibrahim lists Muslim attacks on Christian churches that killed over 1000 but no UN day." Oct 11, 2022 ~ .@billmaher "Why are liberals so moronic?" @AlinejadMasih, "They never go and live under Sharia laws. Islamophobia?! Phobia is irrational, my fear, and the fear of millions of women, is rational." "This has become a tipping point for the Islamic Republic... like the Berlin Wall." [Islam, Islamophobia]
Nov 3, 2023 ~ Ben Shapiro, 'The Islamophobic Lie' "This month has seen the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust. It has also seen the worst global spike in anti-Semitism since the Holocaust." So naturally, Biden and Harris start lecturing us about 'Islamophobia' which almost doesn't exist compared to antisemitic hate crimes which are 7 times as frequent as anti Muslim crime. Biden and Harris are ridiculous clowns who are always on the wrong side of everything. [Anti-Semitism, Biden, Harris, Islam, Islamophobia, Israel, Terrorism]
Jan 31, 2025 ~ 'Why The Plane Crash Was Entirely Foreseeable And Preventable' A tragic mid-air collision an American Airlines flight landing in DC and a military Black Hawk helicopter kills all on board both craft. We learn that the Black Hawk was at almost 400 ft when 200 ft was the limit for that space. And they were over the water when they should have been hugging the coast. "According to the FAA, staffing levels were “not normal” at the airport at the time of the accident. One controller was handling both inbound planes and helicopters, where normally two controllers split those responsibilities. So this is some of the most congested, critical airspace in the entire country, and we’re evidently running things at half capacity." Why was tower understaffed? Well for one thing, according to the New York Post, the FAA "is embroiled in a class-action lawsuit brought by 1,000 would-be air traffic controllers who were allegedly turned down for jobs because of diversity hiring targets." For another, standards have been relaxed to meet the DEI targets: "The crux of the lawsuit is that the FAA, under the Obama administration, dropped a skill-based system for hiring controllers and replaced it with a 'biographical assessment' in an alleged bid to boost the number of minority job applicants." "Brigida, who is white, alleges he was discriminated against solely based on his race when his application was rejected, court papers state. The would-be air traffic controller, who graduated from Arizona State University’s collegiate training initiative in 2013, was turned down for a job even though he had scored 100% on his training exam, the lawsuit alleges."
