This is a national crisis and we CANNOT stand by while strange fruit hangs from trees across the country. We're demanding a federal investigation NOW so we can stop modern-day lynchings."
@AOC follows up with, "This year, there have already been 10 reported hangings of Black people in the U.S. I’m proud to have signed onto @RepPressley‘s letter to address these widespread modern-day lynchings and put a stop to this racial terror."
In reality, the police have ruled almost all of these suicides. The suspect in the one homicide investigation is black. There is no lie too big for these people if they can use it to divide us.
30 other Democrats signed on to this ridiculous thing. These people never, ever tell the truth when it comes to race because the truth does not help them politically. Dividing us and creating hatred and division in the country benefits Democrats who pretend they are the saviors of the black people being 'lynched' and otherwise being systemically 'oppressed.'

Yesterday at the La Defensa del Pueblo summit in Oxnard she named a specific federal immigration agent, gave a hotel and street address, and told the crowd to f*ck him up. Then she told them to read Blood in My Eye and study guerrilla warfare. That book is not theory class. It is George Jackson’s prison manifesto. He was a Black Panther revolutionary who founded the Black Guerrilla Family and died in a San Quentin escape attempt. The book says America is already fascist and the answer is armed urban war in the cities. Ambush. Sabotage. Hit police and federal agents as enemy combatants until the state breaks. She is a public university professor. She named a man. She pointed to a hotel. She handed the crowd a manual for guerrilla war. That is who she is. That is who she works for. That is dangerous as hell."

Ayanna Pressley (MA-7) called it a "national crisis." Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14), who signed the letter, tweeted about "widespread modern-day lynchings" and "racial terror."
The only problem. Its complete bullshit. As usual. As always when Democrats cry 'racism.' Elder goes through every one of the incidents that the liars call "widespread modern-day lynchings" and "racial terror." Every one was a suicide except for one homicide where the perpetrator they arrested is black. UPDATE: a second black man was arrested in this murder. Police now think that they staged the hanging after they killed her to make it look like a lynching.
The Democrats will never stop falsely playing the race card to keep us divided. Disgusting.

Jim Copenhaver, one of the people wounded in the failed Trump assassination attempt has died. “Jim was shot twice at the Butler rally on July 13, 2024. He survived that day, but he never fully recovered from the wounds. For two years he lived with surgeries, remaining fragments, and pain that never left him.” Firefighter Corey Compatore died the day of the shooting.
