Jan 8, 2023 ~ Byron York, 'Remember the Hysteria Over Trump's Tax Returns?' Democrats set a horrible precedent by releasing Trumps returns against his will. Proved all their years of hysteria and insinuation were bogus. York recalls all their ridiculous and BS claims of what they would find. [Fake News, Loathsome Left, Taxes]
Apr 26, 2025 ~ "Do the Rich Pay Their 'Fair Share' of Taxes?"
"The top 1% of wage earners earn 26% of all income and pay at least 40% of all taxes (depending upon the source). The bottom 50% of all wage earners make 10% of all income and pay 2% of all taxes." [Taxes]
May 24, 2025 ~ 'If the Rich Are So Powerful, Why Are Their Taxes So High?' Larry Elder debunks common myths and lies that Democrats always tell about the rich not paying 'their fair share.' First he demonstrates how few people have any idea what different groups of people pay especially the rich. Most have no idea that "the top 1% of earners paid 40.4% of all federal income taxes." And the bottom 50% of Americans pay only 2.3%. [Economics, Fake News, Larry Elder, Politics, Taxes]
Jun 22, 2025 ~ 'Economic suicide by design' Another big company forced out of a blue state: "Tektronix has decided that it has had enough of the Oregon Democrat high taxes, poor schools, and constant degradation of the quality of life for its employees. Textronix was once one of the largest employers in the state of Oregon." [Economics, Economy, Regulations, Taxes]
Jul 3, 2025 ~ 'TRUMP EFFECT: U.S. Adds 147K Jobs, Beating Projections For Fourth Straight Month' "The United States added 147,000 jobs in June, beating expectations for the fourth straight month — the latest economic win for President Donald Trump and his administration. The June jobs report, released Thursday, shows growth across sectors as the unemployment rate fell to 4.1%, its lowest since February." “Hats off to President Trump because this three-legged stool of his has really been powerful: the trade, the taxes, and deregulations together.” [Economics, Economy, Regulations, Tariffs, Tax Cuts, Taxes, Trade, Trump Win]
Nov 10, 2025 ~ 'IRS $600 Tax Rule for 2025 Changed (Venmo - Cash App - PayPal)' Trump Administration saves us from the insane $600 IRS reporting nightmare for Venmo, Paypal, Cashapp transactions that the Biden Administration tried to implement:
"The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 lowered the IRS reporting threshold from $20,000 and 200 transactions down to $600. It was the single largest drop in reporting requirements in IRS history. That's why I was saying this is such a big deal. And a lot of people felt that way too because if you received just $600, you know, that was the threshold, then you would receive an IRS 1099K tax form and millions of innocent Americans were going to get sucked into the IRS reporting, the documentation requirements, the audits, mistakes, even just think about all the stress all because of a $600 threshold... Anyways, it was expected to impact an estimated 40 million Americans, many of which did they didn't even know about this rule."
Its impossible to overstate how much of a nightmare this was going to be. Its the kind of sick shit that only Democrats would subject the American people to. President Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill" got rid of it thank God and restored the original reasonable limits. [Economy, Taxes, Trump Win]
Feb 1, 2026 ~ 'Trump Announces John Deere Factory Will Build Only Excavators Made In US'
"Trump said the factory will mark the first time excavators are produced entirely on U.S. soil, ending reliance on foreign manufacturing for the heavy equipment."
As a direct result of Trump's trade policies and lower corporate taxes, "John Deere has poured $2.5 billion into domestic manufacturing facilities and directed roughly $80 billion toward U.S.-based suppliers, according to the company website. The manufacturer added another $100 million in capital spending at American plants in 2025." [Economy, Tariffs, Taxes, Trade, Trump Win]
Mar 22, 2026 ~ 'Kathy Hochul’s Seller’s Remorse'
"Back in 2022, Hochul built upon the work of her predecessor, Andrew Cuomo, in making the case that Republicans were unwelcome in the Empire State. “Just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong, okay,” Hochul said of her gubernatorial opponent, Lee Zeldin, among others. 'Get out of town because you don’t represent our values. You’re not New Yorkers.'"
"Evidently, her audience was paying attention, for, between 2022 and today, around 250,000 New Yorkers did as Hochul asked, and headed down to Florida where they belonged. Given the vehemence with which she issued her order, one might have assumed that this development would have filled the governor with joy. But one would have been wrong. Indeed, far from celebrating the exodus, Hochul now sounds as if she is on the verge of putting together a modern Lewis and Clark Expedition tasked with bringing them back. 'The fact is,' she said this week, 'I need people who are high net worth to support the generous social programs that we want to have in our state.' That being so, she is urging the New Yorkers who stayed to go down to the Sunshine State, rummage around in the homes and gardens of Palm Beach, Naples, and Miami, and 'see who you can bring back home, because our tax base has been eroded.'
"It may not have escaped the notice of New York taxpayers that the state’s budget is twice that of Florida, despite the latter having a larger population. Indeed, Mayor Zohran Mamdani proposes to spend more money in New York City’s local government than the entire Florida budget, and that on top of state spending. Hence, the endless appetite for taxes."
What fools Democrats have been in NY and other Blue states. They wildly over promise far more than they can afford, hoping to tax "the rich" to death to pay for it but the rich predictably leave because they're expected to be slaves. Combine these problems with ridiculous climate policies that Democrats agreed to even though it was obvious they could never work or be afforded and the Blue states are in deep deep trouble. Mar 22, 2026 ~ 'Kathy Hochul: Oops, That Climate Law Was a Mistake...'
Another story where Democrats are panicking because they realize the policies they've pushed on their constituents are unaffordable and unreasonable. This has always been obvious to Republicans.
"One of the worst problems she faces is skyrocketing energy bills, and the prospect that those prices will rise even more and faster in the next few years as climate deadlines rapidly approach."
"To achieve New York's outrageous climate goals, it would "add more than $1.90 to gasoline prices and raise costs for a family with oil heat and a gas vehicle by $3,000 annually." She's already eroded her taxbase by driving a quarter million people (very few poor) out of the state and now those left behind will be drowning in unaffordable energy bills knowing its her party's fault. Not a good time to be a Democrat in NY or other Blue states... [Climate Change, Economics, Energy, Politics, Taxes]
Mar 22, 2026 ~ 'Please Come to Boston...or Anywhere in Massachusetts, Okay?'
All the Blue states are driving their people away by over taxing and over regulating and not enforcing laws and such. And they are all facing huge budget shortfalls as a result. Dumb... "From April 2020 to July 2025, 182,000 residents fled to other states, causing a demographic decline and a serious brain drain. The evacuees skewed younger, particularly adults between 26 and 34, stripping the state’s future workforce and tax base."
“Half of my Massachusetts clients over the last five years have either left or are planning to leave,” Paul Karger, cofounder and managing partner of Boston-based Twin Focus says. That represents “billions of dollars in net worth and hundreds of millions of dollars in annual income.” [Crime, Deficit, Politics, Taxes]
