No disparate impact lawsuits are valid. Companies and governments have just had to live with it. Cost of doing business that is passed on to the consumer. Update: Journaist Matt Taibbi knew that it was just another stunt by Democrats like many other's he's seen: "It's such blatant, bad, overwrought propaganda ... Trump of course was very upset which was probably the point of this stunt. He accused them of sedition which it obviously is. The definition of sedition is “conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.” They are trying to turn the military against the commander in chief and encourage them not to follow orders. Democrats now accuse Trump of calling for the deaths of the seditious six but he did not. He merely pointed out the lawful penalty for anyone tried and convicted of sedition.

Finally, when uncertainty is layered on top of this — about when and if tariffs will come into effect and for how long — it’s a truly toxic brew.
