Harvard has become an effectively partisan institution, undeserving of public support." Families rightly worry that the price of a scientific or mathematical education for their children is a four-year campaign to alienate their offspring from their parents’ values. May 3, 2025 ~ 'So it's true: DEI seems to have gotten 67 people killed over the Potomac' We now know that the pilot of the Blackhack helicopter that collided with American flight 5342 made several critical mistakes and disregarded the warnings of her copilot. She was at least 100 feet higher than allowed and out of her permitted airspace. The copilot told her to turn shortly before the crash but she did not. We don't know for sure if DEI initiatives were responsible for this but a common tool of DEI is to apply different standards to the admittance and promotions of different demographics to achieve desired demographic numbers. And since we know DEI initiatives and its methods were heavily in use by the Biden administration, it is natural to question if she attained her position on merit.

"The Executive Order titled 'Restoring Equality of Opportunity and Meritocracy' eliminates the toxic doctrine of "disparate impact," which has bludgeoned both business and higher education for decades.
The key passage of the order is here:
'Disparate-impact liability is wholly inconsistent with the Constitution and threatens the commitment to merit and equality of opportunity that forms the foundation of the American Dream. Under my Administration, citizens will be treated equally before the law and as individuals, not consigned to a certain fate based on their immutable characteristics.'
The contrived legal gymnastics of "disparate impact" declares that if a race-neutral or sex-neutral policy yields an aggregate result that is deficient in some way in proportionality from what political policy preferences say should be the result, then that policy can be judged illegal racial discrimination.
Essentially, it permits an individual person to argue that he's been "harmed" by racial discrimination if a group to which he belongs doesn't demonstrate the desired proportional representation in a college or business, for example, and can sue them when they are innocent of wrongdoing. In effect, it compels the colleges to pursue racial discrimination to achieve the proper engineered mix to prevent legal action.
Under the regime of "disparate impact," individual persons are evaluated not by their actual performance according to race-blind or gender-blind policies, but by what the social engineers declare the reality ought to be. If the outcome does not match the policy prescription of the social engineers, then voila, we have illegal racial discrimination at the individual level. No other explanation is valid or even possible.
A failed individual can point to aggregations of data to "explain" their suboptimal individual outcome, for which they assume no responsibility and for which no individual responsibility is required. It's the result of "racism" somewhere along the line. Even when none is found.
This assignment of racial discrimination where it doesn't exist actually motivates institutions to engage in illegal racial discrimination to avoid lawsuits from persons who have suffered no actual harm.
This perverse incentive has now ended."

Oxford is attempting to change Latin (a gendered language like many others today) into a gender-neutral language for the benefit of 'non-binary' students. Latin words like 'magistri' (masters) and 'doctore' (doctors) use the masculine form to include both genders when plural like romance laguages today. These words will be changed or eliminated, often by just referring to the students as 'you.' Entire languages are expected to be changed for the benefit of people who delusionally believe they are neither male nor female and the woke institutions of lower learning are still going along with it.

Even if we go with the highest estimates, maybe 13 to 18 million Native Americans lived across the entire continent. Now imagine that kind of population density over an entire continent. Most of the land was empty and untouched. Second, European settlers were not illegal invaders. The concept of “illegal” implies established laws and governing structures, which did not exist in the way we understand them today. Native tribes claimed land through conquest. They took what they could defend, and that was the law of the land. The settlers simply entered into that same system of conquest. They didn’t invent it, they joined it. One controller was handling both inbound planes and helicopters, where normally two controllers split those responsibilities. So this is some of the most congested, critical airspace in the entire country, and we’re evidently running things at half capacity." Why was tower understaffed? Well for one thing, according to the New York Post, the FAA "is embroiled in a class-action lawsuit brought by 1,000 would-be air traffic controllers who were allegedly turned down for jobs because of diversity hiring targets." For another, standards have been relaxed to meet the DEI targets: "The crux of the lawsuit is that the FAA, under the Obama administration, dropped a skill-based system for hiring controllers and replaced it with a 'biographical assessment' in an alleged bid to boost the number of minority job applicants." Many other #FakeNews organizations parroted the lie including CBS, BBC, USA Today and The Guardian. Trump's DEI initiative never mentioned the Tuskegee Airmen. It did eliminate DEI training. Some Tuskegee Airmen videos were very briefly pulled to be reviewed with all the others but were quickly back in use as the anti-DEI order did not apply to them. The Tuskegee Airmen will always have their honored place in history and the Air Force. A final irony, it was Trump who honored them in his 2020 State of the Union address.
